Hey y’all.
My name’s Justin Tyler Tate and yesterday was my first day in residency at Anatum’s. If you want to see what my previous work looks like you can check it out here and/or here. At Anatum’s my plan is to build a sensory deprivation tank (SDT also known as float tank or isolation tank); yesterday I was doing research while getting acclimatized to the space.
SO! Here is some of the research I was looking into is:
- John C. Lilly (and his very early-90s looking website), the inventor of the sensory deprivation tank.
- Tank experiences from Lilly’s website.
- The Deep Self – Lily’s several hundred page book about his research.
- A brief run down of the history and use of SDTs.
- Plans for building a SDT.
